I have no idea what the problem is, or what to try next so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have even taken 2 of the machines to another property and used their internet connection (different ISP, different router), the same thing happened, therefore I can only assume it is an issue with the machines and not the network or router. I have tried doing a factory reset on the router. I have updated all network adapter drivers, updated anti-virus software and installed all windows updates. I have switched the computers around and the 3 older machines have this issue but the newer 2 do not and will happily run non stop. The only way to regain the connection is to restart the machine. Some of the computers are losing their internet connection after around 8 hours. The issue we are having, (which has only been an issues for a few weeks) seems to have coincided with a recent Windows update (all the machines run Win10)
Connecting with an Ethernet cable can offer a slightly faster and more. All of the computers are connected via cat5 cables not wireless. If your computer is next to your router, you may want to set up a wired connection. I run a small business where we have 5 computers of varying makes, ages, and spec in the office, some perform automated tasks 24 hours a day and others are work stations.
